Hey, I’m Ashley — founder of People Who Love People.
This isn’t just a business.
It’s a movement. A message.
A messy, mission-driven body of work
that lives at the intersection of business strategy and human dignity.
PWLP was born from a question I couldn’t ignore:
What if leadership could be more human?
Leadership isn’t a title or a right — it’s a calling. People Who Love People exists to rehumanize leadership and serve the people too often left behind.
PWLP is a mission-driven organization redefining what leadership looks like — at work, in business, and in our communities.
We offer leadership and business coaching, training and workshops, and community-based people projects that support and serve the often-overlooked.
Whether we’re rebuilding culture in a company or restoring confidence in a community, our mission is the same:
Rehumanize the way we lead, work, and care.
PWLP is where heart meets action.
I’ve spent years building systems, leading teams, navigating conflict, and driving organizational change. I’ve helped businesses grow from the inside out — not just by fixing broken processes, but by restoring broken trust.
But beyond that work, I care deeply about people who feel unseen.
The woman who doubts her worth.
The young adult aging out of foster care without support.
The leader who’s tired of “performing” and just wants to be.
So I built PWLP as both a consulting practice and a mission platform — rooted in the belief that every number is a human story, and every story deserves to be seen.
Under PWLP, we run:
The Leadership Lab – strategy and training for people-first organizations
She Builds – coaching and community for women navigating the business landscape and building bold, beautiful things
The People Projects – grassroots initiatives focused on restoring confidence, belonging, and care in our communities.
It’s all connected. It all matters.
If you’re someone who believes that too — welcome in.
I don’t have it all figured out. But here’s what I know:
I’m a person who loves people.
And for a long time, I thought that made me weak. Too emotional. Too sensitive. Too much.
Turns out — it makes me unstoppable.
It’s the reason I show up to hard conversations. It’s why I care about the story behind the spreadsheet. It’s why I believe leadership isn’t about control — it’s about connection.
I’ve chased titles. Sat in rooms wondering if I belonged. Tried to play by the rules. Tried to shrink to fit.
But when I zoom out and follow the thread tying it all together, it’s this:
I just love people. Fiercely. Even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.
So I built something for the ones who still care.
For the leaders who want to lead with heart and still drive results.
For the HR professionals who are done being the policy police.
For the women who keep getting told they’re too much.
For the ones holding broken systems together with compassion and grit.
For the tired ones, the sensitive ones, the still-showing-up ones.
This is for you.
Because here at PWLP we believe:
Leadership is not a title.
It’s not a perk.
It’s a privilege — and a calling.
We believe in doing the hard work and the heart work.
In choosing presence over power.
In building trust, not fear.
We believe work should feel human.
That empathy isn’t fluff — it’s a skill.
That softness is strength.
And that people who love people are the ones keeping the world intact.
We believe every number is a human story.
And every story deserves to be seen.
This is People Who Love People.
This is leadership. Rewritten.
